Mmmm. Well, I'm curious to see how we are evaluated as I do believe the Ticketmaster called even this socializing event a performance. Prizes and incentives — that could be a number of things. Perhaps even our accommodations since they seem in no rush as yet to provide them.
Re: Snowdrop - Looking for people that love their Family
I'm rather pleased with it too. I'd have been fine on my own, of course, but it's good to spend more time with him. And this way he and Mother have nothing to worry about.
[ There's little chance she'd have let him come unattended. ]
She often wishes I'd slow down, but she's going to have to accept that I won't eventually.
From experience, thankfully. Family is the most important thing to me. But I recognize my privilege in having grown up surrounded by the loving Family I would come to call my own.
I suppose that is why I have interest in this topic in the first place.
Understandable. I take great efforts to know a large portion of my Family, but still it is almost too large for any single person. I'm glad you have some people you know — especially a teacher who knows at least a part of you.
Pardon my surprise. I know that there are some here that have very few if any memories — people that we should reach out to more as they are going through twice the change as the rest of us.
No. Even with my connections within Cirrus, I was given nothing more than congratulations and well wishes upon receiving my ticket. Same as anyone else. Well that, and arranging who would oversee my duties in my absence.
It is a pleasure, Lucy. You may call me Friday in return. Since you mentioned your family by relation, I presume you were not one of the 'blessed' recruited by any of the families?
[ She inclines her head in return, adding the sticker to her now very art deco luggage. ]
I do love them all very much. And can only hope that others found a similar sense of belonging and purpose within their own Families.
It is nice to meet you, Barachiel. I have not often had the opportunity to be more acquainted with the Holy Order. What an unexpected boon this trip is turning out to be.
Mostly weather puns like "it's the dawn of a new day" or something else you might find on an bargain bin inspirational poster. If they'll brighten the mood, I can come up with as many as needed~
[ Lucy keeps in step, leaning towards the alcohol. Time for a little social drinking to go along with the topic of it. ]
Did you have much time to meet your Family before being whisked away here?

[He's still got his suitcase with him...]
A big ship like this should have plenty of space for a group this size, though. I can't imagine we'd all be consigned to tiny rooms below-deck.

Magpie
Did he now? How wonderful. It puts me at ease knowing the two of you can look out for each other here.
[ Both in the "protective sense" and also in the "cause mischief" sense. ]
Once we get back, I'd absolutely love to see your art. Ah, I'm sure you hear this often from your mother, but you're growing up so fast.

Oh— both literally and preferentially a bird person. Alas, that puts you even more in a minority I'm afraid.

Jem
[ This sticker she pockets to put in her little scrapbook of Jem memorabilia that she has collected over the years. ]
I'm so glad to see you, too. How wonderful. I was dreading having to go so long without your company and song, but those worries are gone.
What a grand undertaking this will be.

I wouldn't want to smother them. Yeah, I feel bad that they don't remember anything, but too much attention can be a bad thing, right?

Oh! That's a much more optimistic view than I was taking. To the future.

Well, they certainly spared no expense.
